John Ewing Company

The John Ewing Company was founded in 1946 as an alfalfa milling company specializing in custom feeds for ranchers. Hard facts about animal nutrition were hard to come by in those days so, undaunted, John bought a farm where he built an experimental feedlot to do his own research. In 1960, after 10 years of feeding hundreds of weanlings and yearlings, he introduced Formula 707 (Daily Essentials), the world’s first horse conditioner.
Many of the formulations developed by Ewing are still utilized today and Formula 707 continues to test and develop new products, always with an eye toward providing the same consistent quality we’ve been known for since 1946. Formula 707 offers a full range of vitamin/mineral supplements, as well as supplements for joint health, hoof health, digestive health, and products for topical application.
