Made of tough, durable polyurethane, Easyboot is a natural way to provide hoof protection, traction, treatment, cushioning and correction while allowing your horse to go barefoot at all other times. The Epic features an attached, yet removable Gaiter that provides extra hoof protection, increased stability and protection from outside elements; keeps excess dirt and debris from getting into boot. Also helps keep boot on during extreme conditions such as mud, snow and water crossings. New lower profile Comfort Strap with beveled edges makes application easier, as well as increased comfort and a better fit for the horse. Improved cast buckle system offers numerous adjustments. All hard portions of the boot ride below the hairline; insures no chafing around the coronary band and completely eliminates joint interference. Includes permanent cleat covers and 20% more tread than Regular Easyboot. Beveled toe provides natural breakover. Stays on as well as nailed-on shoes, but can easily be removed and put right back on. Ideal for the barefoot horse, muddy conditions, or for a horse who is difficult to keep booted. Excellent boot for long distance riding, endurance, multi-day excursions, light trail riding and pleasure riding. Great for barefoot horses traveling long distances over difficult terrain. Sold individually.
"EasyCare took their well-known Easyboot and made it even better, adding a gaiter to the top. This addition makes the boot stay in place better than ever. Horses easily became accustomed to wearing the boot, and it stayed secure. Lightweight and flexible."

"Easyboot Epic took on the challenge of the 155 mile Mt. Carmel endurance ride in May 2005 and came out triumphant... We had a hose in camp, so each day I just hosed off my horse before taking the boots off. That worked well, and underneath everything was always clean. Then I just finished hosing off the boots and everything looked good with the boots and horse each day. Although the 155 miles was very muddy and rocky, the Easyboots stayed on and did not rub."
